Founded by travelers to promote meaningful travel
Leave Home Productions is a small travel consulting and production company organized as a partnership and based primarily in Seattle, Washington, USA. The founders of Leave Home created the company to seek meaningful work, to make use of their experience and interest in travel and the tourism industry, and to use their skills in video production, design, Web development, and client service.
Our approach
Our approach is informed by a commitment to responsible tourism and meaningful cultural exchange, and our own independent travel, group travel, and international living experiences. We strive to share our knowledge and learn from our clients, to provide service, and to develop mutually beneficial relationships.
We believe that interest in sustainable tourism and new communications technologies offer possibilities for wider distribution of the benefits of tourism and greater involvement of stake-holders from the host communities. There are also new opportunities to provide value to tourists while reducing the centrality of price considerations and to redefine roles in tourism distribution.
